I'm So Sneaky!

I went to Macon with Keith, Jen, & Brandy this past Saturday, under the demise that I needed to get some baby blankets for a friends shower (yes, Becky...I used you as my scapegoat).  While there, we all were also looking for dresses for Susie Brandt's wedding in June.  We stopped by Salvation Army to see if there was anything good, and as all teachers tend to do...we flocked to the books.  There, staring me in the face, was the newest edition of "What To Expect When You Are Expecting!"  It was only $1 too! Then I saw the What to Expect the First Year for anothe $1.  Again, I used a pregnant friend as my scapegoat, and told them I was going to purchase them to give Lisa! {insert giant evil laugh and HUGE smile}

Anywho...I did find a dress-scratch that-2 dresses that I am SUPER excited about, especially because, while in the privacy of the dressing room, I pushed my belly out as far as I could to make sure they would look cute with the baby bump :-)

I found 3 perfect baby blankets, that I am going to use to announce the news to my parents & Kirk's parents.  I have been trying to figure out a fun way to announce to them, even though Kirk's solution is to just not tell anyone until I am in labor.  He says that would be the best suprise.  Um...NO! :-) Anywho...I plan to wrap the blankets up, and have a card inside that says something like "Not to be used until Baby Tanner arrives around {insert due date}."  Hopefully, they will get it and be excited...but if not, then I at least have 3 new blankets for Baby.  Actually, the two I am giving away are similar (yellow fleece, one says "Baby" and one says "ABC") and the 3rd I couldn't resist (green and white with stars!!!).  Hopefully I will get a picture of each blanket & the announcement before I give them, as well as pictures of their faces when they open them.

On another "sneaky" note...I cannot wait to leave for Spokane! I am suprising my cousin Robyn for her graduation!  If everything goes as planned, she won't know I am coming until I get there, and at the same time, no of them will know we are pregnant until I tell them.  I want to be able to tell specific people in person before the news hits Facebook (because lets be honest, that's how the news will really spread).  I want to tell Grammy in person, and can only hope that Mama can help me keep the secret one more week!

Fingers crossed all this sneaky-ness goes off without a hitch!
