Weekend Visit to Atlanta

Amelia & I went to Atlanta this weekend to visit with family and friends.  Mom and I weighed and measured Amelia Monday morning before going bridesmaid dress shopping with my girls Lindsey & Heather.  Amelia unofficially weighs 9lbs 8oz and measures 22 inches long!!! It's great to know she is getting what she needs from me, because she is growing like a weed!  We are pretty much grown out of newborn sized clothes, and are wearing mostly 0-3 month things now.  1 more pound and I will have to remove the newborn insert from her carseat. 

We were extremely sad to send Aunt Jamie back to Berkley, but were glad to spend some quality time with her before she left.

We also got to visit with one of my roommates and her son, which we dubbed their first date.  Maddox is 2 months and a few days older than Amelia.

Max came home and we had a family dinner, but sadly without dad who was on a plane up north for business.  We lucked out and got a second dinner with Maxie too; he and his girlfriend Bailey joined us for dinner at Jason's Deli last night.

We have had another belly struggle with Amelia, and she had been very uncomfortable.  Last time, we tried prune juice and it took a while to work it's magic.  This time we tried pear juice, and Mimi was lucky enough to be able to feed her (which is rare since she is exclusively a breastfed baby).

Last night, we also had an impromptu photo session on the couch because Amelia was so darn cute in her dress and new shoes (great $1 find at Target).  She played along for a few minutes before getting upset with us.
