Yep-officially a month since my last post. Things have been crazy as we prepare for this little kiddo's enterance into the world. We found out last week that due to blood pressure concerns, we were going to deliver 2 weeks early. That means that Bean will most likely be here December 20th! Kirk and I are extremly excited, but nervous at the same time. When we went back to the doctor this week, it was confirmed that we will be going into the hospital Sunday evening for some pre-labor medicine, and will start pitocin Monday morning.
Santa came to visit school today...this is a picture of me with my coworkers :-)
We continue to work on getting things ready for Bean, and although we will never be ready enough, I have taken a few pictures to share what we have done lately. We have some super cute onsies now (thanks to Mimi!) for Christmas since we will have Bean for the holidays! The carseat is also installed and ready to bring Bean home in. Kirk's friend, Thomas, is a local police officer and checked it for me so that I know it's in there safely. Apparently, you have to climb into the actual base for it to be tight enough...maybe they should put that in the installation instructions. FYI: Carseats should not be able to wiggle more than an inch when you shake them!
This is a picture hanging in Bean's room. The print is a Charles France' and was a good friend of my Great Uncle Gordon. The print was given to my mother when I was born 26 years ago! She kept it safe and sound for all those years and it goes perfectly in the room with the camoflauge bedding!
